School Group Trips: Spanish Language and Culture in Benalmadena

Benalmadena is a picturesque coastal town situated on the Costa del Sol in Andalusia, southern Spain. It enjoys a Mediterranean climate of mild winters and dry summers and is easily accessible by air, only 8km from Malaga International Airport. Benalmadena has developed from its history as a sleepy fishing village of white washed houses to the present-day lively, animated town of approximately 50,000 inhabitants, whilst holding on to its original charm and character. Small enough to provide a safe environment for younger students and large enough to offer a range of shops and restaurants, a water park, outdoor cinema, golf courses, fantastic beaches and even a sailing school at the large modern marina.

Our school is located in the old town and provides tuition to students of all ages. It employs fully qualified teachers experienced in teaching Spanish as a foreign language, and course content is designed in full consultation with group leaders.

  • Day 1

    Arrival at Malaga airport and transfer by private coach to accommodation in Benalmádena. Rest of day free.

  • Day 2

    Full day guided excursion to Granada, including visit to La Alhambra (by private coach)

  • Day 3

    Morning: Spanish lessons x 4
    Afternoon: Guided tour of Benalmádena Pueblo and Mijas (by private coach)

  • Day 4

    Morning: Spanish lessons x 4
    Afternoon: Guided excursion to Málaga (by train), including visits to the Cathedral & Picasso Museum, plus free time for shopping (if time allows)

  • Day 5

    Morning: Spanish lessons x 4
    Afternoon: dance lesson (Flamenco/Sevillanas)

  • Day 6

    Return transfer to Malaga airport

Included: 

  • Tuition: 12 Spanish lessons over 3 mornings in 2 closed tuition groups – each lesson is 45 minutes and all class materials are included
  • Student accommodation: 3* hotel accommodation x 5 nights – shared twin rooms, full board
  • Activity programme: 1 full day and 3 half day activities/excursions – all led by a member of staff from the school in Benalmádena, with entrances and transport included
  • Transport: Return transfer from Málaga International Airport
  • Leaders: Free places for 2 leaders in 3* hotel x 5 nights – single rooms, full board
