Music is an integral part of everyday life in Cuba and live performances are well attended and appreciated by people of all ages.  Our school orchestra tours in Cuba (and choir tours too), are endorsed by the Cuban Ministry of Culture and include performances and musical exchanges.

We have been organising cultural tours in Cuba since 1998 and have extensive experience of organising school group tours to this music filled island.  Music classes with top professional musicians can be arranged as well as master classes.  Cuba is a fascinating place to visit, is a safe location for travellers of all ages and for music lovers is absolute heaven!

Our tailormade school orchestra tours in Cuba, along with school choir trips, are endorsed by the Cuban Ministry of Culture. We have been organising music and cultural tours here since 1998 and have an experienced team of local coordinators and tour leaders to make sure that your trip runs smoothly.

Performance tours with concerts or recitals in a number of different locations can be arranged, with master classes by top professional musicians if requested. Visits to the National Music School in Havana or the Santiago de Cuba conservatoire can also be included during term dates, and musical exchanges with community groups offers a fascinating insight into musical education and practice in Cuba.

Accommodation is provided in hotels or licenced homestays, depending on your preference, with all meals included.   Our experienced and bilingual tour leader will accompany your tour from start to finish to ensure that the trip runs without any hitches.

  • Day 1 - Arrive Havana

    Group transfer to 3* hotel x 3 nights. Dinner in hotel and briefing meeting

  • Day 2 - Havana

    City tour in morning including visit to local music/performing arts school
    Lunch in local restaurant
    Afternoon concert / musical exchange with Cuban music students
    Dinner at hotel

  • Day 3 - Havana

    Visit Murealando project, an inner city music/arts project – cultural exchange with Cuban youngsters
    Lunch in local restaurant
    Afternoon concert in Havana and return to hotel for dinner

  • Day 4- Havana - Trinidad

    Transfer to Trinidad after breakfast (5 hours drive) and check in to 3* hotel x 3 nights
    Lunch on arrival in local restaurant
    Late afternoon musical exchange activity in Trinidad and return to hotel for dinner

  • Day 5 - Trinidad

    Visit local music students/community music group in Trinidad.

    Late afternoon concert in Trinidad and return to hotel for dinner

  • Day 6 Cienfuegos

    Drive to Cienfuegos (1 hour drive)
    Short city tour including tour of Teatro Thierry Tomas, one of the most famous theatres in Cuba
    Lunch in local restaurant
    Late afternoon concert or musical activity/exchange and return to Trinidad for dinner

  • Day 7 Santa Clara

    Transfer to Santa Clara (3 hours). Check in to 3* hotel x 1 night
    Visit the Che Guevara Mausoleum
    Lunch in local restaurant
    Late afternoon musical exchange / activity and return to hotel for dinner

  • Day 8 Depart Havana

    Transfer to Havana (2 hours)
    Free time in Old Havana and lunch
    Transfer to airport for return flight overnight
