Italian Teacher Refresher Course, Salerno

Salerno is situated in the South of Italy beside the stunning Amalfi coast and famous sites in Campania such as Pompeii, Naples,  Capri and Cilento. Salerno is a safe and friendly city with just 145,000 inhabitants and is an ideal place to meet local people and practice your Italian.

Our Italian teacher refresher course runs on scheduled dates throughout the year with Italian language lessons complemented by methodology and teaching practice sessions. See below for further details.

  • Duration:  2 weeks

  • Start dates:  Available all year round
  • Cost:  on request
Course duration: 2 weeks
Consists of: 20 group lessons + 5 training lessons per week
Lesson duration: 45 minutes
Maximum class size: 10
Minimum language level: Intermediate – Advanced

Our Italian teacher refresher course is suitable for current teachers of Italian who would like to develop and update their knowledge and skills. The programme has a very practical approach with teaching practice sessions and the possibility of choosing personalised solutions. A final evaluation, at the end of the course, will allow teachers to answer possible questions according to participants’ needs.

Students have access to the school’s multi-media centre and can take part in the extra-curricular activities organised by the school every week.

Please note the course requires a minimum number of 4 students. In the rare event that a participant is the only one enrolled for this course, the tuition will be converted to one-to-one lessons, reducing the lessons by 50%.

Please get in touch with us for full details of the structure and content of the 2 week course.

What is the process for Erasmus funded courses?

  1. Choose which course, start date and type of accommodation you would like to book and contact us
  2. We temporarily reserve a place for you on that course whilst you apply for funding through the Erasmus + programme.
  3. When you find out the results of your funding application, you pay a deposit of £150 to secure your place on the course. You do not have to pay anything until you have found out if you were successful or not.
  4. The full balance is then due 8 weeks prior to departure
  5. The application for funding is managed through Erasmus +, and as your language course provider, we provide you with the supporting documents (confirmation letter and invoice) for your application
