French Teacher Refresher Course, Rouen

Rouen is a small picturesque city in Normandy, just one hour west of Paris by train. Our school is located very close to the botanical gardens and has 13 bright classrooms, a friendly family atmosphere and is one of the top accredited French language schools in the country.

Consists of: 30 closed group lessons per week
Class timetable: 09:30 – 13:00 (Mon-Fri)
+ cultural programme in the afternoon
Lesson duration: 60 minutes

This course provides teachers of French with the opportunity to refresh language skills and pronunciation, as well as methodology and classroom strategy skills. It is designed for non-native teachers with an advanced level of French. The cost includes all course materials.

Accommodation is available in homestays, the school residence and several hotels all year round, and is from the Sunday afternoon before the course starts until the Saturday morning after it finishes (1 week = 6 nights, 2 weeks = 13 nights). Extra nights are available on request.

Homestay

This type of accommodation is perfect for those who wish to be fully immersed in everyday French life. Bed linen is provided however students must take their own towels. There is a choice of full board (3 meals), half board (breakfast and evening meal) or B&B (breakfast).

School Residence 

This accommodation offers full independence as well as a friendly atmosphere and it consists of student apartments for 1 or 2 persons (double bed). They are fully-equipped with TV, kitchen, cable internet, towels and bed linen. Coin-operated washing and drying machines are available. Meals are not included except for daily breakfast (excluding Sundays and public holidays).

What is the process for Erasmus funded courses?

  1. Choose which course, start date and type of accommodation you would like to book and contact us
  2. We temporarily reserve a place for you on that course whilst you apply for funding through the Erasmus + programme.
  3. When you find out the results of your funding application, you pay a deposit of £150 to secure your place on the course. You do not have to pay anything until you have found out if you were successful or not.
  4. The full balance is then due 8 weeks prior to departure
  5. The application for funding is managed through Erasmus +, and as your language course provider, we provide you with the supporting documents (confirmation letter and invoice) for your application
