School Group Trips:French Language and Culture in Antibes

Antibes has a rich historic and architectural past. The town has been well preserved and renovated and its history is evident on a stroll round its narrow streets and avenues. Ancient squares, medieval streets, typical provençal houses and pine trees all add to the picturesque charm of this location. The ancient Fort Carré stands guard over the town, giving views along the coast to Nice.

Our language school teaches French to students of all ages, employing fully qualified teachers experienced in teaching French as a foreign language. Course content is designed in full consultation with the group leader.

  • Day 1

    Arrival at Nice airport, meet homestay hosts and transfer to Antibes.

  • Day 2

    Morning: French lessons.
    Afternoon: Provencal products tasting at school and visit to a glass factory/ blower in Biot (by bus).

  • Day 3

    Morning: French lessons.
    Afternoon: guided walking tour of Antibes, including Le Nomade/Bastion St Jaume and treasure hunt.

  • Day 4

    Full day guided excursion to Nice, including visit to the Matisse or Chagall museum and visit to Confiserie Florian with chocolate tasting.

  • Day 5

    Morning: French lessons
    Free afternoon

  • Day 6

    Morning: French lessons
    Afternoon: excursion to Monaco (transport included)

  • Day 7

    Depart Antibes for return to Nice airport.

Included: 

  • Tuition: 12 French lessons (45 mins each) over 4 mornings in 2 closed tuition groups and all class materials are included
  • Student accommodation: Homestay accommodation x 6 nights – shared rooms, full board.
  • Activity programme: Supervised activity programme: 1 full day + 3 half day activities/excursions – led by a member of staff from the school in Antibes. Entrances and transport included
  • Transfers: Return transfers to/from Nice airport
  • Leaders: 2 group leaders in school residence x 6 nights – shared room, half board (breakfast & lunch)

  • Local transport in Antibes. We can arrange bus passes on request.
