Cuba opening up for tourism

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Good news!  With Cuba opening up for tourism from November and off the UK travel red list since last week, it is all very encouraging for international travel after such a long period.  Although Cuba has stated 15 November as the date for tourism to resume on the island, it is expected that this will be a gradual  process, with the initial focus on the main beach resorts such as Varadero, the Cayos and Havana.  Live music venues, domestic travel providers, shops, bars and restaurants all around Cuba will also all be opening up from mid November, so it is looking very positive.

We are hoping that by late December or early January we will be able to run our regular trips again.  Our  main focus at present is finding out how our local providers are faring after so long without business, and putting arrangements into place for our popular dance and music tours based in Santiago de Cuba.

We will soon be posting details of flights from the UK to Holguin/Santiago de Cuba, amended entry requirements on arrival with regard to PCR test results, the wearing of masks and other such important issues.

Please do get in touch with us if you would like to book your place on a dance or music holiday for 2022/23, as we are now open and ready to roll.  Check our website  for the latest details of Cuba dance trip dates for 2022, or for our Cuba music holidays.  With Cuba ready for tourism – are you ready for Cuba?

Looking forward to hearing from you and to organising your holiday to Cuba.
